Held in the beautiful beach city of Danang on 12 May 2019, Ironman 70.3 is Vietnam’s premier triathlon event. At 9pm every Saturday, Sunday or Holiday, the dragon on the bridge “breathes fire”. The water and fire performance lasts around 5 minutes and lights up the entire city. The shows symbolises the aspiration of the Danang City.
At 11pm every Saturday, Sunday or Holiday, the traffic is stopped from crossing the Han River Bridge for an hour. The bridge swings on its axis to allow shipping traffic to pass along the river.
